First of August is my birthday. And I feel a little bit strange. Not because of the age or because I got older or other unimportant stuff like this. But because, looking back at the last year, so many things have changed.
If I’m looking back on what happened from 2015 to 2016, there wasn’t that much. You could probably say that I was a little bit worse. A little bit more overweight, a little bit more money issues and other stuff. It wasn’t better.
But this year it’s different. I’ve made so many changes in my life and so many things have happened that it’s a 180 degree turn. And everything started in August 2016. Probably because I wanted to make the changes or I needed to make them.
In August 2016, I’ve started to read a little book, called “Titan” by Ron Chernow. It is an amazing book and it took me the whole month to read it. But reading about one of the greatest businessmen’s in the history made me think that I can do it as well. That is because I found a lot of similarities between Rockefeller and myself. And could identify bits and pieces from his life story in my own life.
So I’ve begun a long process of change in my life. And it’s working. I’ve done a lot of changes in my life. Good ones. I am improving each day and I’m moving towards my long life goals that I only dared to dream about in the past.
What’s left now is to continue this good feeling of change. And this trend. I will continue to improve and I will continue to grind. Because change is possible. We just need to want it and work for it.
